Welcome to my tikky tak home page. This first page is dedicated to my kitty Simon.
So you're probably wondering; What is all this Tikky Tak business anyways?! Well, for some reason I sometimes call my cats Tikky Taks. I recently shared this information with my fiancee and when I started getting interested in learning HTML, he thought it would be a neat idea to make a page for the cats and name it Tikky Tac. So there you go.
Some information about Simon. He is 3 years old and I got him when he was six weeks old at my friends farm. I was surrounded by all sorts of kittens and they were meowing and sounding just pitiful. Simon was sitting in front of me calmly and just looking at me, saying nothing. I couldn't resist him. My friends parents let me take him with me so I put him in a box and brought him home. I took him with me when I moved to Vancouver Island 2 years ago and again when I moved to Winnipeg a year and a half ago. He got to fly in the plane and everything. I will admit that he is a much better flyer than I am.

Well, Simon has been a very busy cat lately. It is the middle of shedding season. You can imagine the black hairs that have come off this boy! It has been very hot out and he has spent most of his time sleeping. When not sleeping, we try to get him and little Eric to go outside on harnesses. We bought them 10 foot leads to attach to the harnesses and we stick them into the ground using tent pegs. Our attempts to have them outside have been somewhat successful. Simon would like to have more freedom than he does but he's just going to have to put up with it if he wants to continue going outside. There is a rule in our city where a cat cannot be outside on it's own. Your neighbors can catch it in a catbox and take it to the humane society if you let it out. I personally dislike this rule but there is nothing that I can do about it. Simon was really cute earlier this evening, he decided to be super affectionate and sit on my bum while I was lying on the floor. He hasn't done anything like that since he was a kitten. And that's all for Simons update today, I hope to update the site more often and change it around when I learn a bit more about HTML.

Well, here I am again. I have been playing a bit with my webspace and finding new places to make webpages. Now I'm attempting to link them altogether. Simon has turned into a lazy slug. He spends most of his day either sleeping or sitting in front of the patio window. It's like a TV for him because he gets to sit there and watch for the squirrel which likes to come by and scream at him. He sure is cute though.
This next one is Simon drinking out of the toilet. A habit he got into while we were living in Nanaimo. Bad Cat!
