Appearance: Completely made of stone, therefore, Ohman is not, technically speaking, alive and doesn't really have a gender. It is often mistaken for a decorative statue. Very tall, over eight feet, and roughly human-shaped, but with very thick limbs and slightly longish arms. Its head is small and bald, with only two eyes, and mouth and a nose, more decorative than functional. Its face doesn't move, so its emotions can't be easily determined.
Personality: Usually pretty simple-minded and apathetic, Ohman tends to forget about creatures that are much smaller than it. (To the eternal dismay of cats, rukels, and the occasional flitter.) It is very protective of Darkling Dawn's inhabitants, viewing itself as a sort of guardian, and prone to causing chaos when it perceives a threat, real or imagined. However, it does not mean to cause trouble, and is actually quite good-natured and gentle, despite being rather oblivious.
Past: Ohman is from a distant and very ancient world of mages and sorcerers. It was created by a skilled architect, a simple stone statue at the time. Later, it was brought to life by a powerful sorcerer to guard the palace of the king. Over centuries, though, the kings all died and the palace was deserted, leaving Ohman alone with nothing left to guard.
It remained there for a few more centuries, then finally managed to overcome its single-minded purpose and left the ruins. Soon it stumbled over from its world to Darkling Dawn, and the first humans it met for many years were those of the Dragonry, who welcomed it to stay, though some a little apprehensively.

Personality: Feoraseth is carefree, to say the least. Ohman can expect its bond to be a laid-back sort of guy all his life. Feoraseth's a daydreamer, and is likely to conjure up the strangest of thoughts when he is relaxed. That's probably all right, since Ohman is simple-minded itself.
