Appearance: Tall and athletically built from spending a lot of his time hiking outdoors. He has wavy strawberry blond hair that is neatly combed just below his ears. His eyes are a dull reddish brown, though he prefers wearing sunglasses because he is completely blind. Though born and raised on Pern, he prefers wearing terran clothes, because they're more comfortable.
Personality: He gives off the impression of being eternally weary and 'I-no-longer-care." He's usually extremely timid and won't speak up. A master of the outdoors and has a knack for surviving stuff. A lithe and easy mover from his life in the outdoors.
Past: Because of a serious illness as a young child, Olih has grown up completely blind. Disliking the pity of his parents and other holders, he spent years learning how to get around on his own, until his parents gave him a female canine puppy named Reska. At first he resented the canine, seeing it as another proof of pity, but she soon became Olih's closest friend. They often took long hikes in the forest, away from other people, and he enjoys being in the outdoors.

Dusky is quite headstrong, stubborn, and hates to be told no. Nevertheless, she is well loved by Olih and Shoezveioth, and even Reska, being a very well-trained and laid back canine, tolerates her with little trouble.
