Roniel
Etea Arena
Name: Roniel Trueon
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Family: Lord and Lady Trueon

Height: 6'3-Tall
Build: Muscular
Skin: Light tan
Hair: Brown, to nape of neck, straight.
Eyes: Light blue

Appearance: Tall, slender but muscular, and devestatingly handsome. His brown hair is always combed back, with not a strand ever out of place, and his light blue eyes are bright with intelligence and mischeivousness. He dresses...um...'colorfully'; in bright, sometimes almost glaring colors.
Personality: Hmm...How shall I put this kindly? He's an eccentric heir to a vast fortune with not much in the way of a real job. Translation: He's a spoiled rich kid with nothing better to do than raise and train vicious, bloodthirsty dragons. Hey, everybody's gotta have a hobby!
Past: His parents are Lord and Lady of a large area on a different world. He's their only, pampered child, and they spoil him horribly. In his frequent, (
very frequent) free time, he enjoys horseriding, flirting, and exploring other worlds. He's recently discovered the drow city of Rileikoul, and has become fascinated with the drakkins. He plans to start a colony of his own soon, and is gathering precious items for the breeders' prices.
Pets: Purple Rukel, Aciva (Female)
Roniel's pet is a female, purple rukel named Aciva. She's small, furry, with feathered wings and likes to sit on his shoulder. She's intelligent and able to talk aloud. Aciva is a bit spoiled and vain, she likes food, soft things, and shiny objects.
Roniel fingered the scarlet colored fabric with one leather-gloved hand, smiling slightly. He looked up at the merchant, who was watching him impatiently and shifting his weight nervously. "15 peices of silver."
The man scoffed. "20, at the least."
A furry purple head unwound itself from around Roniel's neck as deep, dark blue eyes stared at the merchant curiously. Aciva purred, leaning forward to sniff at the man, who eyed the creature distastefully.
Roniel smiled at the man's discomfort. "Don't worry, Aciva won't hurt you." He said, reaching up with one hand to scratch the rukel's head. Aciva purred and rubbed against his hand, keeping her bright blue eyes fixed on the merchant.
The merchant grunted. "Animal fur makes me sneeze." He said, trying to stay as far away from the rukel as he could. "Alright, then, 15 peices of silver. Take it!"
Roniel grinned as he grabbed the bundle of cloths. "Pleasure doing business with you. Come along, Aciva." Aciva purred, flapping her wings as she wrapped herself around his neck again.
The rukel purred, rubbing her head againt the silky material. "Soft..." She purred.
"Not for you." Roniel reprimanded her.
Aciva smirked. "What girl has caught your fancy, that you're going through all this trouble for her?"
Roniel rolled his light blue eyes as he replied. "It's not like that. I have something entirely different in mind for Lady Inrahi."
Aciva snickered, and Roniel flicked her lightly on the nose. "She's a drakkin breeder, my furry little friend." He said dryly.
"Tcha, fine then. What do you want with a filthy, vicious little creature like a drakkin, anyway?" Aciva asked indignantly.
Roniel stopped, glancing at the rukel as he smiled. "I'm going to train them, of course. What else would I do with a drakkin?" He laughed.
Aciva sniffed, implying that she intended to stay as far away from these drakkins as possible, and curled her tail tighter around his neck. Her dark eyes lit up as she spotted an open display case, revealing a set of ruby earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and the like. The rukel purred excitedly. "Shiny..."
Roniel grabbed the rukel around her middle as she tried to jump off his shoulder. "Don't even think about it."
"Oh, come on, Roniel. I'm sure this Lady Inrahi is very fond of jewelry, isn't she?" The rukel wheedled.
Roniel sighed. "Yes...Oh, alright! But don't think I'm going to get you a shiny little trinket just to keep you happy. It's supposed to be for Lady Inrahi, to cover the price of a drakkin hatchling." He said, relenting. Aciva purred as they left with a large set of ruby jewelry; the rukel held a particularly sparkly ruby between her front paws, crooning happily.
Roniel rolled his eyes before pocketing the other items he'd received from the jewelry stall; a set of thirteen gemstones, all pearls, opals, and obsidian, another part of his offering for Lady Inrahi.
"So what else were you planning on offering this Lady for a hatchling?" Aciva asked curiously.
"The fabrics, the jewelry, and the stones, along with 300 gold coins and a fur-lined cloak." Roniel answered. Aciva hissed distastefully at the mention of fur and Roniel smiled. "That's it, I think." He said thoughtfully.
"Why don't you offer her one of my eggs?" Aciva said as she groomed a forepaw casually. "Rukels are obviously rare creatures in Rileikoul, an egg would likely sell for a lot."
Roniel swiveled his head to look at the female, his eyes narrowing accusingly. "Why didn't you tell me you'd clutched?"
"You didn't ask." Aciva smirked.
Roniel's Offering:
13 gemstones of various sizes (Pearl, Opal, Onyx)
Fine cloths (Silk, satin)
Ruby jewelry set (earrings, rings, necklace, bracelets)
Fur-lined cloak
300 gold coins
Rukel egg
Aciva hissed at the baby blue drakkin warningly as he approached the rukel, sniffing at her curiously. At her sound of disgust, Re'eve ran off to chase one of the subterraneon butterflies. crouching low to the ground as if the insect couldn't see him then. With a sudden snarl, he jumped up, snapping his jaws closed around the insect. He licked his lips and looked very pleased with himself.
Aciva blinked. "And for a second there, I actually thought he was cute." She said dryly.
Roniel smiled. "Look out behind you, Aciva."
The rukel turned. Having finished his meal, Re'eve had snuck up behind her, and had taken an unhealthy interest in her twitching tail. With a growl, he pounced on it, biting down on the tufted end.
Aciva screeched. "GET OFF OF ME!!!" She yelled as she struck out at him with one clawed paw. She struck the drakkin on his nose, leaving three lines of red on his blue hide. Re'eve yelped and backed, scratching at his nose, while Roniel watched, laughing.
"Re'eve just got beaten by a flying cat." He said as Aciva glared at him. "I think we'd better get started on that training as soon as possible."
