Appearance: Sorien is centuar-like, with the upper body of a human, with olive-tanned skin. His lower body is that of a hyddi; a small, hooved creature that looks like a cross between a goat and a deer. His short legs are covered in thick, shaggy fur and end in cloven hooves. His fur is dark brown, with a white underbelly, and he has a fluffy, deerlike tail. His ears are long, furry, and droop down. His horns are little more than nubs, but they will lengthen and grow as he matures. Sorien has frizzy black hair that reaches to the nape of his neck and large, dark green eyes. He is very short and skinny.
Personality: Sorien is still rather young for his race, but he is very intelligent and smart. He is small but quick, and likes to challenge other people to races. As he has four legs, he usually wins. He is outgoing, friendly, and cheerful, making friends easily. He likes to talk a lot and sometimes says the wrong thing, but he is generally kind and easy going. He has lived a sheltered life and is just beginning to realize what the real world is like. Though he's become somewhat disillusioned, he is still very much naive and innocent, and willing to trust almost anyone.
Past: Sorien is from a magical world called Athanasia. His animal half, a hyddi, is a common native creature of that world. 'Taurs like him, however, are completely unheard of. In fact, human-animal hybrids of any kind are very rare and almost extinct. He's recently come to suspect that he is the product of some sort of magic expiriment, though he can't be sure because he has no idea where he came from.
He was found by a group of human nomads as a young child and was raised with them. He had very little contact with other humans outside of his adopted family and had never seen a city until he found his way off world.
He was overtaken by a strange storm one day, which was probably magical in origin. He suddenly found himself on another world, with beings that didn't take too kindly to him. He managed to escape, however, with the help of a friendly human and his dragon companion. The rider, C'thu, took him back to Darkling Dawn with him, where Sorien stayed for a while.
He eventually decided to try bonding a dragon of his own, and had C'thu and Onilaath drop him off at Star City Dragonry, a place that caught his interest because it was so very different from both his homeworld, Athanasia, and Darkling Dawn.

Personality: A friendly, outgoing and cheerful dragon, Rosineth is quite like his bond in many ways. He loves to race, and he's good at it--though moreso in the fast flights then in the long-hauls. He's protective, especially emphasizing this when someone brings up Sorien's hybrid-makeup. Other then that, he's very kind.
Cyborware: Rosineth may redeem one minor cyborware token upon adult-hood.
