Innocence Some days I just don't know Some days I dont want to wake up and face my world covered in bloody snow The tears of innocence shed in my path Writing the story no one can know. It hurts to see the pain Caused by the people and things That cannot be swept away by the rain. How did this happen, how did it get so bad? When will it stop, when can I return? Why am I crying, why am I always so sad? I just want the smiles back, I just want to stop being so mad. My life doesnt make sense anymore, I've never felt this lost Can anyone tell me how to get back.... How to get to Sesame Street? |
Her Pain Their expectations are so high She'll reach and climb for each goal they set But no matter how hard she will try Life will deal her a deadly blow send her flying from the sky. In each moment she aims to please to do her best to achieve what they want, To set their many minds at ease. Her little fragile heart is hurting, Is there not one who will see? chorus: They all know her face, They all know her name They all know what she needs, They all lead her to their claim to fame. They all line up to give advice, They all know when to place the blame But does anyone see her pain? Everyday there's so much to do Swim across the Atlantic, paint the sky blue. Maybe tomorrow she'll find a cure for cancer, Or split an atom in two. repeat chorus They all know my face, They all know my name They all know exactly what I need, They all lead me to their claim to fame, They all line up to give me advice, They all know it's me to blame. Won't someone know my pain, feel my pain, help this pain within? Or perhaps tomorrow, I will be my guide and instead of cancer, I will cure me inside. |
Freedom and Justice We look on today. Disbelief at the display Of our mighty country under attack How can we hide our dismay? The towers tumbled down. We all listened to the sound Of our innocent people crying out How can we not mourn for them now? Justice will reign one day. For this terror, our enemies will pay So we send our soldiers out to get revenge How can we do anything but pray? Trust is what we need. To survive this terrible deed. Belief in our country's faith and love Freedom and justice shall remain our creed. |

Just One Moment The moment I saw you The second you first held me, In that brief meeting I knew That you and I were meant to be. From long talks deep into the night, The good-mornings and midday smiles You provide me with all I need Our love extends beyond the miles I don't know what our future holds, But I do know that for the rest of our days I promise only to love you true For today, tomorrow, and always. |

Far Away Distance makes the heart grow fonder - That's what they all say I do long for you more than ever, I just wish you weren't so far away My feelings are stronger than before I think about you everyday I would love you like there's no tomorrow If only you weren't so far away. A picture paints a thousand words - but not in the same wonderful way That you would whipser them, If you weren't so far away In your arms I will be, At my side you will lay. Happiness will fill my life, When you're not so far away. Summer 1998 |
Rain Raindrops on my windowsill Blend with the innocent tears Of one whose heart is broken See all the pieces lying here. Rain Rain pouring down Reaching upwards to the sound Sweet Sweet pitiful rain You norish my thoughts and you water my brain. Water rests on tear stained cheeks Her eyes fall upon the clouds Darkness finds a place inside And promises to bring all she needs. Rain Rain pouring down Falling downwards to the ground Hard Hard beautiful rain You norish my roots and you water my brain. Raindrops, water, rhythm, harder A need that grows from deep inside Comes like a hurricane to my mind Floods that come after the rain Lull my thoughts and dull my pain. |

It used to be beautiful As we lay down at night Letting it slip into the horizon with a smile, Knowing everything was right. |
Days, weeks, months, it stayed true Awaking, the brightness piercing the abyss Satisfying the deep need inside Who knew it would die like this. |
One day, abruptly, far too soon Down it went, deep into the blue So harsh, so sudden... And so went the end of me and you. |
FINAL SUNSET |
Oh, fallen angel, today is your day You filled me with joy, now it's time to repay Now reach up and take it, no time to delay Here are your wings, now go, fly away To places where pain no longer can lay Forever in peace, happily you shall stay. |
Why not, fallen angel, how long have you prayed? Fret not, fallen angel, your debts have been repaid Those in need have had your gracious aid. We know, fallen angel, of mends you have made From the minds of loved ones you shall never fade But go, fallen angel, why have you stayed? |
To help and to hold me? My angel, please go When you'll get this chance again, I do not know How can you stay down with us here below? Love? My angel, that you do show Please, my angel, take your wings, let yourself grow No? Oh my sweet angel how I do love you so. |
