I won't write a huge amount about this trip, since it was only a week long. I travelled with Travelbag Adventures, who did a good job organising the flights and trip as a whole. My younger sister has also used this company to travel to Morocco and enjoyed that trip too, so they get the thumbs up. We spent a couple of days in Antalya, doing some rather tame white-water rafting before moving down the coast to Kas. There is plenty to do around here, provided you don't want to lie on the beach which is very rocky. We tried sea kayaking, some short walks, a 4x4 tour and I tried scuba diving for the first and possibly last time. Don't get me wrong, you see a bit more than snorkelling but scuba diving requires considerably more faffing about, waiting and training for only a slightly different view of the sea life! Still you've got to try everything once. The highlight of the trip was sea kayaking over some ancient ruins which were covered by the sea. |
