St. Joseph's Convent, St. Joseph Alumnae welcomes you to the home page of the SJC Roaming Reunion. Our group's founders are Nicole Marcellin-Olivers, Kathy Ann Steele- Dockery, Leticia Theodore and Rhonda Douglas who grew out of 1988/90 Alumnae. For the last two years we’ve enjoyed organizing events with fellow alumnae with whom we maintained contact, regardless of their graduating year.
We have been to Broadway to see Convent Alumna Krisha Marcano perform in Aida. We have also had dinners, camping trips, and several “limes”. We've really enjoyed our get-togethers and want the group to expand to include as many past students as possible. Thus was born the concept of the Roaming Reunion. Even though the group’s founder’s live in New York City our intention is to give our fellow “Convent girls” an opportunity to connect with “ole” friends , make new friends, visit new cities, share experiences, remember the good ole times, network and just have fun. This could be accomplished by either past students planning events in their own city, town or country or by roaming with us through planned events in different cities, towns or countries… …The goal being to create a network of SJC ole girls all around the globe! So far, we have at least 20 ladies representing classes of the 70's 80's & 90's who have either participated or expressed an interest in the Roaming Reunion. We welcome your participation as this number and our events continue to grow. You can organize an event by becoming a moderator or you could just become a member and enjoy the events planned for you. To become a member of the group email us at sjcrr@yahoo.com . Our registration form will be e-mailed to you. For a more interactive experience, details and to receive updates on our events around the world you must subscribe to our SJCRR Group. We've chosen this member's only format to maintain a certain level of confidentiality for our members. To subscribe to our Group Click on the subscribe to Yahoo Groups box on the left or go directly to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sjcrr. For details on what to expect of the subscription / join process please click here Please e-mail us at sjcrr@yahoo.com Please pass on the word to other "SJC ole girls," as word of mouth seems to be the most effective tool around. |
