OVERALL OPINION Not an episode with huge SJ Shippy moments, but some nice interaction nonetheless--shows us the friendship and rapport these two have in their working relationship.

NOTABLE SCENES

1) It's Not An Order: Not the most shippy scene, but some nice interaction between the two of them. Jack enters the Control Room and goes to stand next to Sam, bypassing Daniel and Teal'c. As he relays the news that Hammond has given up and that the Stargate will be buried, Sam looks up at him and they exchange a brief look. As they discuss leaving the planet to check out Daniel's co-ordinates before the Stargate is closed, Sam and Jack discuss the possibility of a court-martial should they go through with this plan. When the men decide to go, Jack exchanges a look with Sam and reminds her that he is not ordering her to go.

2) Gettin' Emotional: The team discussing their plan of action after Apophis' message and Klorel's appearance once again has some nice interaction between Sam and Jack. She appears quite concerned about his reaction to Klorel/Skaara and warns him about making an 'emotional' decision.

3) Kill Them: Nice angst here for Sam regarding Jack. Teal'c and Jack have been captured and summarily targeted for death. As Jack is introduced, Sam's eyes close in what appears to be pain as she and Daniel hide behind a platform. After Jack and Teal'c are taken away Sam states quite firmly that she and Daniel are going after them. Daniel queries the logic of this (shouldn't they blow up the ship?) and Sam states that she's set the C4 on a timer (24 hours). Daniel stares at Sam for a long time before finally acceding to her wish to save Jack and Teal'c.

4) Rescue 101: As Sam and Daniel enter the room where Jack and Teal'c are being held, firing away, a Jaffa takes a shot towards Sam. Jack is less than pleased by this and promptly attacks the Jaffa.

5) TBC: At the very end, Sam and Jack exchange a solemn (and slightly surprised) look as they realise that they're approaching Earth and Sam reports that the death gliders are prepping for launch (aka, the attack).
