OVERALL OPINION Not as many shippy moments to this episode as in the first part, but Jack's attempt to protect her from being taken to Apophis pushes this ep up a few notches more.

1) Apophis' Return: As Daniel taunts Apophis regarding Amaunet, Jack and Sam share a worried look.

2) Knight In Shining Armor: When Sam is to be taken to Apophis this time, yet again Jack tries to stand in the guards' way. This time he is shot in the leg by Apophis' first prime and Sam rushes to his side. When she sees he's not as badly hurt as she may have thought, she then complies and goes, but continues to look back at Jack as she is leaving. Jack plays brave and doesn't make a sound until she's gone.

3) Questioning: Jack is taken before Apophis to be questioned. Apophis taunts Jack by saying that Sam gave up the info he wanted. Jack informs Apophis that he's certain that Sam said nothing to him, just as Jack was going to do. This shows the confidence Jack has in Sam.

4) Awakening: Sam wakes up back in the pit with a major (pardon the pun ;) headache. Daniel tells her that when they brought her back they took Jack. When she hears this, she closes her eyes in worry. She had the same reaction in "Within The Serpent's Grasp" when she heard Klorel announce to Apophis that he had captured Jack.

5) 1970's: After Jack is returned to the pit and woken up by Daniel, you can see Sam in the background worriedly watching him as he talks.
