OVERALL OPINION This episode is one of my favorites to date. This was more of a Sam/Jack episode than anything else and if you add together all the looks, flashbacks and scenes, it makes for a pretty shippy episode. Plus, what we were sure was there all along was finally confirmed. It’s a great episode and highly worth watching.

1) First time being tested: The first notable shippy scenes come when Sam and Jack are being tested for the Zatark technology. They recap the events of their last mission (To destroy Apophis’s knew ship). The camera spends more time on them the any other team members. Although Jack didn’t openly admit the reason he stayed was cause if the bomb killed Sam he wasn’t going to let her die alone, it was still a cute scene. I would have loved to see Jack’s face when they first found out Sam was a Zatark and vica versa.

2) Retest us: As Jack walks into the room, Sam bombards him with the statement "This has to be a mistake." He immediately agrees with her before breaking the news that he’s one too.

Sam: "Can you talk to General Hammond about getting me retested I mean there must be-"
Jack: "Us"
Sam: "What?"
Jack: "Us retested. Apparently I’m one of those Zarka things to I’m across the Hall.

Ever notice in the scene he keeps agreeing with her like he’d been thinking the exact same thing? I personally find that interesting.

3) Is there someone else to whom you are loyal: During the scene where Fraya kisses Jack and he refuses her offer to ‘marry’ him, she asked him if there was someone else to whom her was loyal. And he gets rather uncomfortable. It’s a pretty cute scene in which it’s easy to guess just who that ‘someone’ is.

4) The Procedure: Jack announces he’s going to go through with the procedure and everyone in the room, except Fraya, is shocked. When Daniel asked what if the same thing happens to him that happen to Lt. Aster, he responds with "Maybe it’ll help Carter. Her brains are worth a lot more than mine". That alone speaks volumes as to how he feels about her.

5) Telling Sam: Daniel got the oh so lucky job of telling Sam what Jack had chose to do. Her immediate reaction was "What? He can’t." After Fraiser explained that if it didn’t work, Fraya might be able to use that information to save her. She then proceeded to hurry out the door but was stopped by the guards.

6) Hallucination: after being given the sedative, Sam started to see things. First O’Neill taken to have to procedure done and then. Then she remembers back to the ship and mumbles something like "the C4’s counting down you have to get out of here".

7) Truth: one of the most shippy scenes in the whole episode when Sam explained that they left something out. In response to his confusion she proceeds to tell him that because he hadn’t admitted the real reason he didn’t leave Carter, was what made the machine think they were Zatarks. Really a cute scene between Jack and Sam.

8) Second testing: The shippiest scene in the whole episode. This is the sentence all of us shippers have been waiting for. "I didn’t leave, because I would’ve rather died myself than lose Carter." "Why?" "Because I care about her. A lot more than I’m supposed to.
