Here is my page on Sweden. This shall concentrate mostly on the football I have been to in Sweden.

I became a Groundhopper after having to move to England for a job - I had no emotional attachment to any club in England (although I later used Blackpool, PNE, Hull, Grimsby and Lincoln supporters buses to get to the further away League grounds)

On being given the opportunity to work in Sweden for a while, I saw no reason to stop this habit, although I realised that distance and language may pose problems in the completion of leagues.

Sweden barely rates a mention in "serious" football circles, and even their indigenous population doesn't think much of their efforts. They play football as they play the rest of their lives - (waiting for their parents to come along and tell them to stop what they are doing, and do something more profitable) they try to be very organised about it - believing that by showing their opponents how erudite they are, then the opponents shall surrender to their superior skills. Life's not like that though. This is one good reason why Scotland has a habit of gubbing Sweden in World Cups and European Championships.
