They ‘gate to the other planet and are ambushed by primitives. The marines come through and scare them off with their guns. They find the primitive’s cap and they see a more ‘human looking’ woman among the. The camp is them attacked by another group, who call themselves the Untouched. They refer to the other group as the Touched.
The Untouched take the SG members to the Land of the Light. Once there they learn that the Touched were originally the same as the Untouched but they changed and where banished to the Land of the Dark. They tell the that they have not seen the Goa’uld for a long time so Jack decides that there is no reason to stay, even though Daniel and Sam disagree, they want to stay and study the culture.
They gate home and debrief with the General. Hammond tells the that the President has asked that scientific and cultural evaluations be made for each mission. One of the marines in SG-3, Johnson, then starts to attack Teal’c and has to be restrained. Hammond orders that he be taken to the infirmary.
While Sam and Daniel are running tests on the Stargate, there is a fight in the briefing room and two men break through the window, falling to the floor in the ‘gate room. Sam calls for medics and then starts to scratch her neck.
When Jack goes into the locker room after having a shower, Sam finds him and proceeds in trying to seduce him. She kisses him, telling him she wants him, before throwing him on a bench as she’s kissing him. Jack rolls the off the bench, effectively pinning her beneath him before taking her to the infirmary.
There are more people in the infirmary that have already been effected and it appears that they are all behaving like primitives. Jack then attacks Daniel for showing he cares about Sam. He is infected too.
Dr. Fraiser discovers that they are infected by a virus but Daniel and Teal’c aren’t infected. Hammond seals the mountain and sends Daniel and Teal’c back to the Land of Light and Dark. Once there they are attacked and Daniel is taken by the primitives. Teal’c goes to the Land of the Light and asks for help. When they refuse, he knocks out the guards and takes a blood sample from one of them.
He takes the sample back to Earth where Dr Fraiser discovers that the virus feeds on histamines. Therefore those who take antihistamines, like Daniel and herself, are immune. Dr Fraiser then injects Jack with a mega dose of antihistamines and he is cured. Now that they know it works, everyone else is cured and SG-1 and SG-3 return to the planet to find Daniel.
They find him with the touched, his antihistamines obviously having worn off, and he has become primitive. They tranquillise them and take Daniel to the Land of the Light. Daniel is cured and the untouched are reunited with their family who were touched. The SG teams promise to show the how to cure the virus.
Jack- Thankyou sir. I pride myself on my deductive reasoning skills
Daniel- Couldn’t we call this planet something that’s
a little easier to remember?
Sam- Ah, it’s based on a binary code the computer uses
for extrapolation.
Jack- Which makes it *much* easier to remember.
Makepeace- Don’t worry boys, that’s why the SG-3 marines
are coming with. You can count on us to watch your backsides.
Daniel- Actually it’s more my front side I was worried
about.
* When they walk into the building in the Land of the Light.
Jack- Love what they’ve done with the place.
Sam- I was gunna do my living room like this but it didn’t
go with my other stuff.
* When Sam seduces Jack in the locker room.
Jack- Carter! What in the hell is going on?
Sam- I want you.
Jack- Why? I mean no!
Sam- Don’t you want me?
Jack- No... not like this
*When Jack and Daniel ‘talk’ in the control room.
Daniel- Wow. What happened to you?
Jack- Oh I got in a little wrestling match with Carter.
Daniel- Why?
Jack- I guess she’s got what ever Johnson’s got. I had
to drag her off to the infirmary.
Daniel- What did she start a fight with you like Johnson
did with Teal’c?
Jack- No she ah... she tried to seduce me.
Daniel- Oh... you poor man.
*When Jack is cured.
Teal’c- Colonel O’Neill?
Jack- Lucy I’m home.
Teal’c- I am not Lucy.
* When they find Daniel.
Jack- Daniel you dog. You keep this up, you’ll have a girl on every planet.
*At the end after they reunite the natives.
Sam- Uh.. sir?
Jack- Yeah.
Sam- About my earlier behaviour. I wasn’t myself.
Jack- Oh Carter I don’t remember your earlier behaviour.
Sam- You don’t?
Jack- I was infected too, remember?
Sam- Right! Good, I’m glad.
Jack- By the way. How’s the wound?
Sam- Wound?
Jack- I understand you got stabbed in the stomach?
Sam- Oh, yeah. It’s nothing. With any luck there won’t
even be a scar.
Jack- Oh good I was concerned.
Sam- You were?
Jack- Sure. If it doesn’t heal properly, you’ll never
wear that sweet little tank top number again.
