| We are a family owned and operated business, so set right down for a spell and let's visit....enjoy some Ozark's hospitality. First let me introduce ourselves, our names' are Ken and Deb Cook. We started S & J in 1997, with the desire to help the people of the Ozarks get a quicker and more reliable towing service. As firefighters for our community, we were concerned about the wait time for a wrecker to arrive at the scene of a vehicle accident. Every passing minute increased the chances of emergency personel getting hurt or killed, especially on these 2 lane mountain highways. We also wanted to have a job that kept at least one of us home with our son, Billy. Our family is important to us. We named S & J after Shannon, my husband's daughter, who passed away in 1986, at 20 months of age, and our first son James, who passed away when he was 3 months old in 1994. |

| We do alot of vehicle retrevals out of Norfolk and Bull Shoals lakes and various rivers across the county. We are the only company that has a 4X4 wrecker who is crazy enough to go swimming in summer AND in the winter! We have chains and have run on 4' of sheer ice to come to the aid of our customers. LET'S PLAY!! Through the years, we have been asked to tow or haul quite an assortment! From planes to an antique boiler, winching out cows, sunk in the mud, and returning them safely to dry land to the relief of their bawling, hungry calves. We've set beams for basements, winched tractor trailers out of the mud and towed Ozark County's Finest!! Being in the fire department and certified auto extrication technicians, we've even pulled the steering column off of a trapped driver who was going into shock and we could not wait for the extrication equipment to arrive. We also have a heavy duty wrecker to tow tractor-trailers, busses, and RV's, a rollback, and an 18 foot flatbed trailer. We will meet all your hauling requirements, no job too big or too small!! |
