THIS INTERVIEW TOOK PLACE IN MATTS BEDROOM ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE WE WENT OFF SKATING....
rich: my names rich parker, im 16 years old, im from taunton and i've been skating for about 6 years
matt: what do you prefer to skate?
rich: rails
matt: no, seriously!
rich: vert
matt: how come you like to skate vert?
rich: because i find it more exciting, you can do tricks back to back each wall and stuff
matt: hat skates are you using at the mo?
rich: im using rolerblade estillo with cozmo wheels and bones bearings and a blue thing over the tounge!
matt: what inspires you to skate?
rich: cesar mora, he's so smooth, he's crazy, and matts willie
rob: do you realise i will be typing this word for word?
rich: mm, maybe we should leave hat bit out then!
matt: what tricks are you working on at th moment?
rich: 900's- i landed one the other day
matt: yesturday to be precise!
rich: yes, at the show! and thats it really, just trying to get them consistant!
rob: so where is ure local ramp then?
rich: well theres dreamfields in taunton!! haha top class!! 4-foot high ramps for the experts! so usually i come up to bristol to skate everyother day.
rob: that must cost abit, do u have a job?
rich: yea, im a paperboy
(much laughter)
rich: well its better than being a bloody dinnerlady, MATT
(again much laughter)
rob: so who's you're favourite pop singer?
rich: i dont do pop singers!!!
matt: so what music do u like?
rich: well basically i cop what everyone else is listening to so i can be cool!
rob: like what?
rich: nah, i like rock and metal when i skate, and when im not skating im not bothered.
matt: so u dont listen to music when ure not skating?
rob: nah, he doesnt, ever
rich: just a lil s-club 7 u'know
rob: the one with the blonde hair is prety fit!
matt: what in s-club? hannah? yea i wudnt mind abit of her!
rob: are you doing any comps this year?
rich: yea, we're going to barcolona for the 19th of july
matt: whats that for... x-trials?
rich: yea. i dont care where i come, it will just be fun skating with other vert guys
matt: representing!!!
rich: we're going to southsea, where matt is gonna enter vert, that should b a laugh!!
matt: RICHARD!
rich: i dont know of anyother comps
rob: mabe peterbourgh if its on
rich: yea we'll go there is its on. And birmingham are having a new park, it sounds good- 2 verts!! keep the BMXers off ours!!!
matt: so you're pretty into the vert thing then
rich: no, i just pretend i am
matt: so is there a special lady in you're life then?
rich: you're mum
matt: hahahaha, i meant someone you're won age
rich like you're same age girlfriend then!!!
matt: ok, swiftly moving on....
rich: well, we met some french girls yesturday
matt: ding dong i tell ya!!
matt: where do you see you're self in 2 years time?
rich: probably still at bristol doing not much, except i#'l b a little bigger and my hair may have changed!!!
matt: no, seriously
rich: i dunno, maybe doing some international comps
matt: what, like newport in wales!!!!!
rich: yea, no u'know, so i can get beaten by some1 else like taig!
matt: instead of joey egan!!
rich: well, hopefully he'll still be there o beat me, but i#'ll kick robs butt!!
