Malaysia FA Cup champion Negri Sembilan is out of contention for the AFC Cup quarter-finals after a shocking defeat to Island FC of Maldives.

Despite the fact that Negri Sembilan is in the lower division in Malaysia football, it is still a professional outfit compare to the Maldives amateur football status

Still it is sweet revenge for the Maldives team as Ismail Mohamed goal was enough to earn the Maldives team their first victory in the competition.

With the victory, Island FC avenged a 6-0 hammering at the hands of Negri Sembilan back in February & certainly the professional Malaysian team will have a lot of explaining to do back home after this result
