FAS announced key changes in their top management

The local football authority have appointed How Seen Yong as deputy CEO of the S-League & Samuel Panthradil as the new Director (Administration and Finance).

Both men, according to the FAS, were headhunted & picked by the FAS Executive Committee from dozens of local & foreign candidates.

Announcing the appointments at Jalan Besar Stadium FAS general secretary John Koh said that their vast experience in the corporate world will take Singapore football to greater heights.

How, 48, will be the understudy of outgoing S-League CEO Chan King Fook, who will thankfully relinquish his position at the end of the year after Chan make mistakes such as allowing funding of foreign clubs.

Unfortunately Chan will still be involved with the S-League in an advisory capacity.

Current S-League director of projects, Ronnie Teo, will relinquish his post at the end of the month & hopefully FAS do not asked him to stay as  advisory capacity as well.

Panthradil, 46, will take over the administration & finance portfolio vacated in July by P Sivakumar.

Other than the 2 new appointments, Winston Lee, Director (Marketing and Communications), has been re-designated to Director (Commercial).

The re-designation comes after Panthradil had been tasked with heading a new corporate communications division in the FAS.
