According to many sources Ex-Young Lions coach Kim Poulsen is leading the race to be the Warriors coach next season.

Despite leading the Young Lions to third place in the S-League this season, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is not extending the 44-year-old Dane's two-year contract when it expires at the end of the year.

SAFFC general manager Kok Wai Leong refused neither to admit nor deny Kim Polusen appointment but he did praise the Danes for the work he done at U18 & Young Lions & if given the chance would like to work with him.

Kok said Kim Poulsen has what it takes to win the championship seeing how he has groomed the national U18 team & the Young Lions into formidable outfits. He can get the best out of his players & anybody would be willing to work with him.

With such statement, it could be a matter of time before the Dane is appointed Warriors coach for 2005 & the Cubs loss would be the Warriors gain.
