Sorrel
Storm Drinking: It is as if every particle of your being melts into the air; you are the rain, the wind, the lightning... you move through the sky, across the stone, ripping through trees, sucking up bits of the ocean. Abruptly the storm begins to dissapate and you find youfself laying on the cold cobbles, soaked in rain, moonlight streaming across you.
I'm a writer. I breathe imagination, it's a part of everything I do.  I enjoy lively, quick-witted, creative people who are comfortable going (way) beyond the realms of pedantic conversation... I'm always looking for new friends, however I'm _not_ single. I'm very much in love with (and recently married to) a wonderfully interesting person, Phil (see below).
I love water, storms, dreams. I enjoy snorkeling, hiking, photography, books, cemetaries (preferably old and well-treed... iron gates and fences are a plus), dragons, vampires, languages, travel, forests, fantasy, gaming, the Haunted Mansion (my favorite ride at Disney World).
I'm 33, married, no children (yet). I have two dogs, Sorch and Cedric (they have their own page here).
I have a B.S. in criminal justice. Right now I'm working as a substance abuse counselor at a methadone clinic. I'm considering opening a luxury doggie day spa.  In the past I've studied cultural anthropology, French literature, creative writing, and American and English Literature. I also spent nearly ten years as a massage therapist (including pet massage).

Right now I'm working on several writing projects: a novel (or two), some artwork, poetry.
If you're curious just ask... I'll either give you an answer or come up with an interesting counter-question.

This is me in my usual, casual state. I dress up on occasion but I must admit I'm far more comfortable in jeans.
This is Phil when we took a trip to Kentucky (where I grew up). This is me as well, occluding my Chinese cat print.
