Suiters everywhere vying for Amelia's hand, driving her crazy. She decided to join with Lina and Gourry once more to get some air. Soon after the trio joined with Zelgadis, who had been continuing his journey to find  a cure. Sadly he is no closer to finding a cure. When Zel hears of a mysterious locked away city he jumps at the chance to enter. The only problem is only outsiders who are married couples may enter. So he and Amelia quickly marry with the agreement of divorcing the next day. The four enter the city. Zel finds no cure, but finds the rules of the city make him sleep in the same bed as Amelia. One thing leads to another and they sleep together. Happily they decide to stay married, Zel asked her to use the maiden spell (magical contraception kids) until he found his cure - unfortunately she had not used it their first time and fell pregnant. Their next journey takes them to Seyruun where Zel and Amelia are treated to a royal wedding. After two years Phil sees how well they work together, and wanting to right the wrongs of the world, hands over the kingdom to them.

Xellos had been given two vital missions - one: murder baby Val and two: create a child with a Golden Dragon to give her a weapon. Seemed simple enough...Zelas had ordered him to kill Val for Valgaav's crimes; as for the second order, Zelas desired an unmatchable weapon - a child born of light and darkness. The thought of touching a Dragon that way sent chills down his spine. It was outrageous! Xellos became Val's babysitter - the term should be used loosely as Filia and her business partners watched him like a hawk. A year passes and he finally has his chance, Xellos goes for the kill...but then baby Val looks up at him and says "Papa", catching him off-guard. Rather than hurt the child he tracks down Filia and torments her for "Mama" not being his first word. =^^= For the next report day Zelas nonchalantly informs him mission one is cancelled - but second definitely was not. {Between you, me and Zelas, she never meant any harm to Val, it was all part of her master plan to ensure Filia would be the one to give her grandchildren ^_~} During the course of a further year she became more relaxed in his presence and gave him more space with his "son". She enjoyed sharing parenthood with him, as disturbing as that was. Unexpectantly they struck up a relationship, and he proposed to her - to which she accepted. All is happy till the day before her wedding while gathering certain flowers for her wedding atop a blessed Dragon mountain she is discovered by the elders to be pregnant {heck, even Fi and Xel didn't know} and is brutually attacked. Left to die in the desert, Filia is rescued by Zelas. As planned she is married to Xellos, however emmotionally scarred she is. Months pass, a golden egg is prodcuced. When Val is three, the egg hatches. Out pop two crying golden hatchlings with glowing amethyst eyes.

Lina found herself eighteen and still technically single. Gourry and she were close friends, never leaving eachother's side, but she wanted more. Frustrated, Lina told Gourry he could no longer be her protector and leave her at once. Gourry was adament to live up to his promise of being with her for life and begged to know what he had to do to stay with her. Lina informed him he had to marry her to legally stay with her - he jumped at the chance to her surprise. Days later Amelia joins with them, and soon Zel. Lina is more concerned with her first pregnancy to worry about them. She really enjoys not having a period during the pregnancy and extra bonuses - so she forges a master plan to ensure she hardly ever gets her period. Next thing she knows it she and Gourry are parents to twelve darling children they struggle to feed. Yet the family is incrediy happy and well organized, living the lives of nomads.
