Second Chance #2 Click on the picture taken at Yorkshire, England below and select the Shakespearean Insulter. The program will then insult you with a new insult whenever you visit the site, or whenever you ask for another. Your assignment is to translate 7 insults into Modern English. THE RULES: 1. You could start by using the glossary used in class, but I urge you to try all of your resources. You may use a book out of my personal library (IN CLASS), or you can do a search on the web for Shakespearean language (try to dogpile). 2. Remember to give citations for the resources that you used. 3. Try to be as accurate as possible, but remember, this is a classroom, so use appropriate language in your translations. 4. If you need any help, just ask. I'll try to steer you in the right direction. |
