Charlie Linford (2179) [ENG]:
It should be noted that the Webmaster did not want to write his own profile, so what follows is from Ben Purton, Team Manager.
Charlie broke onto the scene at a late age. In recent years he has undoubtedly been one of England's most rapidly improving junior players, gaining a Squad placement and the Sussex U-18 title. His best achievement to date is the Hastings Challengers, where he scored 4.5/9, a FIDE rating of 2185, and picked up the Best Unrated prize to boot.
He is a useful addition to the side, and is the brains behind the website masterpiece; he is a loyal player, and is nicknamed "The Boy" because he got a beard at such a young age.

Thank you Ben, for that glowing assessment of my chess, loyalty and beard. As I played for the Sussex Mindsports team last year, no games of mine will be displayed until the new season.
