It is always nice to have a British Champion in the squad, ireespective of the qualification on that title, so to have Peter, who emphatically won the British U-14 title in Torquay last summer, is particularly morale-boosting. Such was the magnitude of his victory (he went into the last round a whole point clear) in Torquay, that even British Chess Magazine have predicted good things for him, publishing his win against former Britsih Ladies Champion Jana Bellin as he made a rare appearance for the first team.
Despite many appearances for the third team and also this appearance for the firsts, he did not play for the second team, and so no games are available at this time.
