Like I said at this point last year - everything seems wide open and fresh. The diversity of musical styles is still there. That was my main reason for making a composite list of the favourite albums of the people who use this site last year- and one year on it still strikes me as the best way. I haven't heard all of these albums, in fact I had never even heard of the Books and Pretty Girls Make Graves before you started to vote. I have my own list of faves to add, with a review of each, and it will be up before the 12th of January if it kills me! Like this list, it has some obvious choices and some that no-one else even mentioned.
