Ashlyn's Bio |

Ashlyn grew up in a fairly wealthy family. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a model. Growing up, Ashlyn's mother groomed her to follow in her footsteps but Ashlyn had other plans. She thought modeling was boring and wanted to pursue a career in professional wrestling. Ashlyn was a huge fan of wrestling but was troubled by some of the stereotypical portrayals of African-Americans, in the profession. She vowed that she would change that by becoming a role model for young girls and boys of color. After graduating high school, Ashlyn entered wrestling school. Her parents were reluctant to support her, especially her mother, but they eventually came around, especially after Ashlyn informed them that she would continue her education at UCLA, as well. Wrestling school was tougher than Ashlyn thought but she kept at it and succeeded. Soon after, she was offered a job with SWEET, a new women's wrestling promotion. Ashlyn jumped at the chance to join such a new and up and coming venture. She was very popular with the promotion and was the fed's number one contender but left when they began to promote a more T&A style show. Disheartened, Ashlyn decided to devote her attention to college. After graduating with a degree in social work, Ashlyn heard the wrestling ring's siren song again. This time, it was for the AWP, a promotion with a mostly male roster that allowed intergender combat. She at first feuded with the female tag team of Family Values. It was during this feud that Ashlyn met Jonathan Conspiracy. Jonathan became Ashlyn's tag partner and the two defeated Family Values, becoming the AWP's last ever Can-Am tag champions. Soon, their relationship became more than just business and the duo became a romantic couple. Deathrow, another wrestler, attacked Jon and sent him out of the fed permanently. Soon after, Jon and Ashlyn ended their relationship. Alone, Ashlyn focused her attentions on winning the AWP cruiserweight championship. She pursued the title for months before finally defeating "Top Gun" Ben Tuckwell. Soon after, Ashlyn was targeted by Brian Taylor. They engaged in a nasty feud that culminated in him defeating her for her title and injuring her. During her rehabilitation, the AWP closed it's doors and she once again found herself unemployed. She tried to find another promotion that would allow her to showcase her skills but kept coming up empty handed. Eventually, the EWWF came calling. She joined the fed and immediately found herself feuding with the likes of Tom Collins, Xian Pu, and Ryan Sanders, not to mention the EWWF's owner, Adam Mitchell. Eventually, she managed to defeat Junya Kontani for the SEX (hardcore) championship, adding to her list of accolades. |
