| THUNDER JOLT |
| Thunder Jolt is Pikachu's ground-hugging projectile attack. It sticks to a surface and moves in the direction it was fired until it hits an object or reaches its maximum distance. When Thunder Jolt reaches the end of a platform it turns and begins on the platform's underside. |

| SKULL BASH |
| Skull Bash is Pikachu's new technique in SSBM. Once executed, hold B to charge up. After B is released, Pikachu will launch forwards, ramming anything in his way. The more this technique is charged, the distance launched and the damage results increase. |

| QUICK ATTACK |
| Quick Attack is Pikachu's recovery ability. After you have activated this attack, quickly choose a direction, then, after Pikachu has moved, quickly choose another direction for Pikachu to move in. If you don't select the second movement quickly enough, Pikachu will stop after one. |

| THUNDER |
| When Pikachu uses Thunder, a storm cloud appears far over head and releases a massive lightning bolt down onto Pikachu. The bolt damages anything it hits along with any opponent in a close range of Pikachu. |
