OK, this may seem hokey, but I grew up listening to the dude (before he developed this sexual fetish for Weird Al): [via e-mail] Sounds great on first listen...Regards, Dr. Demento	This is from someone who calles herself Thrill Racer who publishes a Zine out of San Diego called The Easy Way: Rap album by white dude with a lesbian fixation...The lyrical content ranges from obscene to hilarious (the opening track 'Jesus Just Wants to Dance' is more funny than sacrilegious)...'Good Pair of Slacks' is amusing fashion satire...'Socialist Love Slide' is an explicit sex song...disguised as a message against capitalism. Check out this verse, "You ration out the..." Huh? Demeaning women is a capitalist, not a socialist thing; that's what confuses me about the song. Along similar lines, in 'I Give Up' he complains about hypocrisy in commercialism and politics (which is right on), but he also calls a chick a "sleezy, skank bitch" because she just wants to be friends. Lose the sexism, dude. 'Trials & Tribulations" is an amusing parody of depressing country songs. Sadly, I learned from www.whitee.com, that Whitee's co-writer on this tune, DeBryune, was killed in a car accident shortly after the production of this album. If you go to Thrill Racer's mp3.com page there's some decent tunes here.
Once again, Michelle Piacardo from Rochester's Freetime Magazine says: Vehemently denying being another WWR (Wannabe White Rapper), local rap artist with the low-fi approach, Whitee now releases his sophomore album, Sapphic Delight. Quite the quipster, Whitee's whimsical raps set over a funky drum machine are simple, satirical and oddly infectious...	Excerpts from a review by Bill Campbell of Ink 19: Though a lot of the genre has become laughable in the past few years, we fans need someone who's funny on purpose . In steps Whitee, a simply twisted white boy from upstate New York...All the music on the disc is original, though a little rough. But the main attraction is Whitee himself. His sense of humor is straight out of the gutter, perfumed with a Promethean, irreverent wit...These are songs to laugh to -- from his country send-up "Trials & Tribulations"... to "Lesbian Lover"...and "Tin Of Love"...If you're feeling suicidal, I strongly suggest you put this disc on and laugh yourself away from the gun's barrel.
From the "Can't Please Everyone" Department: I don't know if this is a joke, I don't enjoy the music enough to decipher the lyrics to find out. Shitty "hip hop". The dude who did it...obviously spent a lot of time programming it, which may be satisfying to him, but I really can't imagine anyone liking this but himself. This dude can't ryhme (sic). Cool artwork, though. -Some Dude at Geek America	Not much to get excited about beginning with the opening track "Jesus Just Wants To Dance."...this emcee rhymes about corny stuff over drum machine beats mixed with guitar and electronic flavor. -Whoever JC is at Impact Press
Well, this is the last time I send Whitee's music to a Punk Music Magazine...Jesse from Shredding Paper says: Low-key country-fried hip-hop. This could have been interesting and unique, instead it's just shitty and unique. Bad rhymes over lackadaisical beats make this CD a great drink coaster. Lyrically, this is Organized Rhyme-style wacky surrealism without Tom Green's wit [!] but with a lesbian fixation...Not even amusing in a "Listen how bad this record is" way. I hopoe they tighten up before inflicting their next record on us. Well, my review of the review would be longer of the review. The-fact-that-Jesse-thinks-Tom-Green-has-wit- says-it-all-.
