Yep, that's me, the crazy one waving. I love the beach :) We spent a wicked few days over the New Year down at Nina's bach, catching some sun, surf (*coughs politely* well there was some surf at hot water beach!) and guys! The nights were spent playing cards, joining or making our own beach party bonfires and one night we splashed about in the sea coz it was full of phosphorescent plankton.
You might be wondering what Nina is doing with her water bottle in this pic (note how dirty the water in the bottle is). Funny story - we were on our way back from Hot Water Beach, and the boys, Rog and Allister - each in their own cars, decided to boy race back to the bach (lucky us!). Anyway, Allister took a left where Rog was going right in order to trick him as he was planning to do a U-ey and pass us (k, you're prolly not following, but Allister's plan was to get in front by tricking Rog). Anyway, it severly backfired when he tried to do a 3 point turn and ended up sinking his car in a ditch! Bloody hilarious.
This is the famous ditch :) Looks nice and shallow doesn't it. Hehe... The water almost came up to the windows of Allister's car, and it took a bit of careful driving to get it out. The rest of us stood around and watched, amused. Unfortunately Allister's car was a bit sloshy and smelt of pond water for the rest of the holiday.
The day after the boys returned to Auckland, the girls (Milly, Morgan, Nina and myself) decided to get creative on the beach. This was the result of a couple of hours.
