Obviously, Alfred Boerger was a very prolific cachetmaker.  As you can see, he created at least eight different cachets for the Crusade Against Cancer stamp, but I'm sure I don't have every version issued.  I know of at least one that I'm missing and there are probably others.  I've been told that Mr. Boerger owned his own print shop at the time and loved to use whatever color of ink happened to be on his printing presses.  He produced his first cachet for the 3c Ohio Sesquicentennial stamp issued on March 2, 1953.

If you are aware of any other varieties, please don't hesitate to drop me a line at smith@in.net.  I'm interested in acquiring an example of all Boerger Cachets produced for this stamp.
