On the main Watchtower website, we read:
"When it comes to teachings offered as Biblical truth, the Witnesses strongly endorse the course followed by the Bereans when they heard the apostle Paul preach: "They received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things were so." (Acts 17:11) Jehovah's Witnesses believe that all religious teachings should be subjected to this test of agreement with the inspired Scriptures, whether the teaching is offered by them or by someone else. They invite you—urge you—to do this in your discussions with them."
We trust that the Watchtower Society means this, as this is exactly the purpose of this page: To respond to that urging by the Watchtower Society and to go to scripture to see if these teachings are true.

We all need to decide the basis upon which we will determine what is right and what is wrong. This is more important than what we currently believe because if we are in the wrong, but our standard is right, it will guide us towards the truth. If we are using the wrong standard, then even if we are currently sound in our beliefs, we are at risk of being led astray into false doctrine. What our standard of truth is is absolutely critical.
This is a critical question to the Christian faith. Jehovah's Witnesses tell us that Jesus is a god, but not the one true God, but rather is the archangel Michael, who came to earth in the flesh. Questions for Jehovah's Witnesses who Love the Truth
This book was written by a man and his wife who were formerly devoted Jehovah's Witnesses. He worked at the Watchtower headquarters. Over time, there were some questions that began to trouble him, and it was these questions which eventually caused him to accept the truth and leave the Watchtower Society. In this book, he put forward the questions which caused him to leave, along with photocopies of the evidence which demonstrates that what he says is true, and completes the picture with answers to those questions. This is an excellent book to provide to a Jehovah's Witnesses who loves truth and is willing to investigate the facts.
