Today I worked.  Basic stuff.  Good times.

At home, with my roommate's help, I did some menu planning.  I've got a new process going.  You see, sometimes when I get home from work at midnight, I'm hungry.  I'm tired, so I want to go to bed, but I'm also so hungry I need to eat something.  And I don't feel like cooking late at night, especially when I spent all day cooking.  And I'm figuring that I need to cut back on the Oreo's just a bit.  So, with the new plan, I'm going to spend a day off every few weeks cooking at home.  I'll work myself ragged making an overflow of food.  I'll freeze it up in individual portions.  Then, when it's late and I'm hungry, I can just go to my freezer, pop a home-cooked meal into the microwave, and about 2 minutes later, I'm on my way.  Today I planned the menu and wrote out the shopping list.  Tommorow is shopping day, and Wednesday is cooking day.  The things I will be making are easy, freeze well, and taste good.  I will be making meatloaf, lasagna, spaghetti with meat sauce, pancakes, burgers, cream of mushroom soup and cream of broccoli soup.  If anyone wants to come over, feel free.  Except I'm in Colorado...
