How often do you see an actual legend, still under contract to a major wrestling organization, appearing at a small-town independent wrestling show on his scheduled day off? Well, it happened on Saturday, July 22, 2000, when hardcore legend Mick Foley, on the weekend of the World Wrestling Federation's Fully Loaded PPV show in Dallas, went about 90 miles out of his way to sign autographs and greet fans at a Superstars of Wrestling show at the Hopkins County Civic Center Arena (a rodeo arena, by the way) in Sulphur Springs, Texas. This is my record of his visit.--Rob
(And, by the way, he signed my copy of Have A Nice Day twice---once when he entered the building, and once at the autograph session. Thank you, Mick!)
