The greatest single night of wrestling I have ever attended was this show, on the kickoff night of SMW FanWeek '95. Not only were the regular troupe of SMW stars there (with one exception--Ricky Morton, who had earlier been fired by the promotion), they also had WWF superstars Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker (with Paul Bearer), NWA World Heavyweight and Ultimate Fighting champion Dan Severn, USWA stars PG-13 and Billy Jack Haynes, the very talented Marty Jannetty, and many others. Super Bowl indeed!
Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony, and his wife Dirty White Girl Kimberly, signing autographs at the meet & greet
Marty Jannetty, formerly one-half of the tag team The Rockers (with Shawn Michaels) greets fans before the big card
Southern favorite Brad Armstrong signs for his fans; TV announcer and former champion wrestler Les Thatcher, in white jacket, does the same
Al Snow leapfrogging over Marty Jannetty in their match for the Midwest Territorial Wrestling title--Snow won the belt, and it was the best match of the night
Wild tag-team action as (l)Mongolian Stomper and Tommy Rich go at it, and Terry Gordy and Boo Bradley get it on across the ring. Caught in the middle--referee Mark Curtis
All fall down: Mark Curtis, Buddy Landell and WWF I-C champion Shawn Michaels go down like dominoes. General Jim Cornette's interference backfired on his man Landell, enabling Michaels to hit the Sweet Chin Music and score the pin to retain the title
