*03/3/06: From the Denver Post:
An NBA source said New Orleans-Oklahoma City Hornets forward-center Chris Andersen is expected to enter a drug rehabilitation clinic soon. On Jan. 27, the NBA announced the former Nugget was banned from the league for violating terms of the anti-drug program and won't be able to apply for reinstatement for at least two years. A source said the Hornets tried to approach the NBA about reinstating Andersen at a recent arbitration case, arguing Andersen had told Hornets management he had a drug problem. A decision on the case is expected next month.
