Here is where I rant about politics...

As time has passed, I have gone from being a staunch Republican, to a strong Democrat, then a die-hard Moderate. Finaly, I realized that both parties have it wrong by catering to their respective extremes. Bad idea, IMHO. My political beliefs are a mish-mash that sometimes conflicts itself, but hey, I'm human. But when it comes right down to it, I'd have to say that I am a Libertarian. Self-Government and Personal Responsiblity. So, here's a link to the Self-Government web site, and the official Libertarian Party home page if you want info about them. Check out the link about the famous Libertarians on the Self-Government site. You might be suprised. Too bad the Media ignores other parties to focus on the big two, as if they're your only choice, when 60% of Americans say they are not either Democrat or Republican.

If you really care about politics, as in what is the best way a county should be run, you have to be well informed. You have to at least listen to what people believe, if only to know how the people disagree with you think. In that spirit, here's an essental link to check out. The Top Political Sites on the Web. You'll find everything from the Demcrats, Republicians, Libertarians, Communists, et cetra. With (currently) 93 sites, if it's a political system, it's probably on there somewhere.

Ok, get this: Microsoft , via their Encarta Online Encylopedia, has decided that they can re-write the Constitution! If you look up the Bill of Rights on Encarta, you just get their new version of the first ten amendments! And this page is supposed to be used for Educational purposes, but this page is just an opinion piece! Don't try to tell me what each amendment means, just PRINT IT AS IT WAS WRITTEN!

To see the actual documents in question, go to the National Archives and Records Administration pages. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are transcribed there.
