The show is basically about Tony Manero (Sean Mulligan) who works in a paint store, but on Saturday nights he struts his funky stuff down at the local nightclub, 2001 Odsessey. We learn that he is a very groovy dancer!
Tony meets Stephanie (Jayde Westaby) and they dance together for the competition, which they win.
Tony's mates, The Faces, keep themselves entertained by fighting, Gus (Kevin Brewis) gets his nose broken, and also by falling off bridges! Tony's best mate, Bobby C (Stephen Webb) falls/jumps (it's debatable!!) off a bridge and dies, all because he got his girlfriend PAULINE pregnant!
Away from the "Tragedy" of the show there are many laughs provided, many being from Monty (Shaun Williamson) the DJ and dance teacher.
Saturday Night Fever is one FUNKY show and should be seen by everyone, not only is there excellent dance routines included, but great singing and a handful of sexy blokes!!! What else could you want?!!!
