The M98 FOR SALE |
Pro Team Products Arenaball Edition Model 98 FX |
This has been a great marker for me, I'm sorry to see it go, but I desperately need to scale back my collection (13 markers is far too many, and I could use the cash), and this one just doesn't see much use anymore. I've never EVER gone to the field with this and worried about it not working. Matter of fact, the last few times it's been used, it's been because some idiot screwed up his 'cocker or something and had to borrow it. This is probably the most upgraded (for the under 20 crowd, that's "pimp" "tricked" "thug" "bling" "ballin'" "phat" "tight", and so forth) M98 you can buy, there's officialy three parts left stock, the valve, hammer and linkage arm. The nice folks at Pro Team Products took everything else out, and put these nice, shiny parts in instead: Pro Team Products nickel plated body. Internally polished Pro Team Products Powerfeed (as featured on the Shocker and Automag) Pro Team Products Rear velocity adjuster Pro Team Products Double trigger and guard Armson 8" Stealth, internally rifled barrel Front bottling kit Also features: Starfire Venturi bolt Stainless Steel screws (installed) Thumb screw kit (not installed) Amazing trigger work (I know, I know, everybody says their M98 has trigger work. But where most other people stretch the truth and say that they've got a 1mm pull, getting 45 bps out of their 98, I'm going to be straight up with you and tell you that this isn't an Angel. It does, however, have a VERY short, light, and crisp pull, and it is capable of putting out some pretty steady lines of paint. For comparison's sake, the pull is lighter (i.e., requires less activation force) than a stock hinge-framed autococker, and probably about the same length (i.e., total forward to backward motion) as a stock hinge-framed autococker) All internals buffed and polished Elbow Barrel plug (Never be without one, safety first) I really need to sell off some of these markers, so I'm dropping the asking price to $205 OBO, including shipping to anwhere in the 48 continental United States. If you think that's high, consider the fact that the upgrades alone, not including the body, stock internals, and trigger work, are worth $215 by themselves (thumb screws, $19, trigger and guard, $19, velocity adjuster $22, bolt, $15, front bottling kit, $20, powerfeed, $40, barrel, $65, stainless screws, $15. Add 'em all up, $215 exactly. Prices from 888paintball.com) That's not mentioning the fact that this body was a limited production and, last I checked (I couldn't find anywhre that sells them anymore), sold new for $200. So please, no lowballers, this is worth what I'm asking. Email me at doctor_strangelove@comcast.net if you're interested or have any questions. |
