My Casket Has No Handles My casket has no handles When the hard death befalls upon my soul ---- and my last breaths are at hand. Severely or sternly ---- there will be no retaliation with the intent of inflicting restrain. As i float through life's final journey. I ---- and i alone ---- will be amenable for the retribution from all of my years. I will not shiver or tremble ---- as the scavengers try to salvage me ---- with there plea-bargain to pay homage. If there is a requiem. Sing and dance. For i have earned this voyage. ©Rick Ryckman,2004 Texas |
