| My Favorite Day! Each year when this day comes round, My thoughts will float away. I will ponder nothing else, Nor shall I joke or play. In daydreams that will fill my mind, With emotions wide and deep. I will be lost in yesterdays, But won’t give way to sleep. I was lost, without direction. Confused and filled with strife. In the middle of these painful times, Came the happiest day of my life. The thoughts that often cloud my view, Today will not seep through.
