The Colder Path I've Chosen The colder path I've chosen I'm walking all alone The ground remains so frozen No sun here where I roam Experience, it does come hard But learn each lesson well Though these can leave your soul scarred It's a necessary hell I trudge on down the trail I've set Alone and full of rage As time moves on I lay my bet And turn another page The trail can't last forever, no The ground remains still frozen I reap the fruit of what I sow The colder path I've chosen © Jag, 2004 U.S.A.F. |
