All Alone Again

Another sunrise, I awake all alone.
This loneliness hurts Babe, deep down to the bone.

Im lost every morning, no thought can I keep.
One thing is for certain, another day my heart will weep.

Now, you say that you love me, but how can it be?
The barrier you've built, so high  I cant see.

Why has this happened? Where did we go wrong?
I remember when the love birds sang our favorite song.

Off to work once again, I must force myself to go.
To help keep my mind off these things that hurt me so.

The smile I put on, it is not real, oh so fake!
Can others see right through me, and see my heartache?

The day was not bad I made people smile.
I grinned, I made fun, crying inside all the while.

Another day gone, the darkness falls once again.
They're so very long lately, not like back when.

You say it will be different, this time around.
My goal is to love you, it is there I am bound.

Hang in there I tell myself, as I wipe away the tears.
Dreaming of a long life with you, at least a million years.

I hope that you like this, my heart yearns for you.
For without you, my Dear, the future, I have not a clue.

I will leave you with this promise, my heart is all yours.
Take care of it, mend it, and an endless love, out it pours.

Please hurry home Darling, Im counting to ten.
Cause I never want to be left, All Alone Again.
