A cooparetive game of knowledge and challenge between Finland (Snow) and Greece (Sun). The eTwining cooperation "SnowSun" which is realized by the schools of Lappeenrannan Lyseon lukio of Finland and 5th Lyceum of Veria - Greece, is a game of challenges in the form of "...I am sending you something and you have to find as more information as you can about the thing you received". The game is fascinating, since one team is looking for information for the other team. Each school send to partner school an object or a piece of information and the partner school is asked to find as much information as they can. Throughout this process, each school discovers information about the life, the culture, the history...of partner's school country.
This very interesting and fascinationg cooparetion continues with the attempt to create a common web-site (www.oocities.org/snowsun_fg) and web-magazine where the challenges and the findings at both schools will be submitted.
The aims of the project are to encourage teachers and students to co-operate with a foreing school, to learn more about countries, to use English language,
to practice on computers. But,the best of all, to make new friends and have fun!!!
