The triple needs YOing three times at the beginnng of the stitch. That means you should have 3 loops on your needle before you stick your needle through. YO and pull through (that also means "draw through") Now YO and pull through two loops. YO again and pull through two loops again. One more time, YO and pull through the last two loops.
