We can outsmart those dolphins. Don't forget - we invented computers, leg warmers, bendy straws, peel-and-eat shrimp, the glory hole, AND the pudding cup.
Yesterday, Susan and I went to Parramatta to possibly apply for employment. I
arrived at Woodville Village at 10:20 and waited for the bus while eating Orange
Tic Tacs. Susan soon arrived after I pranked her using the public telephone.
When we got on the bus we saw some students from Bass High, that will remain
anonymous, in their school uniform "jigging". We sat at the back because we are
too cool and stayed there for the remainder of the trip.
We got off at Westfield Parramatta and I only just realised they were building a
pedestrian overpass which connected to the half built cinemas. We entered
Westfield and saw construction happening everywhere. We entered the dreaded City
Beach where Susan browsed through the clothes. She got nothing. We then went
into many other shoe stores and still... she bought nothing. We went into Myer
and she examined some skinny jeans. Still she bought nothing. We then went into
The Urban Store, where she trashed the clothes rack for a shirt. Still
nothing... but she did manage to find a Hello Kitty shirt... but still nothing.
As we walked past Supre I could see Susan was dying to go in but she denied it.
In K-Mart, we first went into the make up section. Susan scrambled around
comparing prices of foundation and crap and was showing me what she has at home
even though I didn't care. We then went into the hair dye section and she was
picking out shampoos and gel and such. Susan wanted this surf hair thing. Susan
got all excited that she jumped when she saw the hair straighteners and such.
She then pointed out which was her straightener and which straightener she
wanted. I then told her I didn't much care, but she ignored me and kept blabbing
on about stuff. To the music/games section and we found this pink Barbie
Volkswagen which was also a radio and CD player. We were trying to see how it
worked and where to put the CDs but gave up. The toys section where nothing much
happened. We exited K-Mart and went into Commonwealth Bank and Susan got a new
PIN (Personal Identification Number).
What happened next is a blur, I think we sat in the food court and ate then went
into HMV and EB. We both got applications from Pretzel World and Susan was a
victim to racial discrimination at Boost. Then we found ourselves in City Beach once again, where Susan
finally got something. I was playing Rugby League with a wrecked control. She
got shoes that were 1 size bigger then her foot. She asked the "helpers" for a
size 5 and the "helper" said "We don't have that size, it's a children's size".
Susan was once again a victim of discrimination. We then applied at Ezy DVD and
once again, Susan felt vilified as an old fart stared at us as we approached the
counter.
Luckily that old fart didn't serve us but another old fart. We then left
Westfield and bought Orange Tic Tacs with what was left with our money and went
home.
