Kamar De Los Reyes plays Antonio Vega, a convicted criminal whose struggle to clear his name and help his family led to feelings of frustration with the system and with his girlfriend, Andy Harrison, a cop with the Llanview police. His association with underworld mob figure Carlo Hesser threatened to destroy his relationships with Andy; his mother, Carlotta; and his brother, Cristian. Born in Puerto Rico, Kamar moved to the United States when he was two years old. He grew up in Las Vegas surrounded by the artistic influences of his family members -- his father and two brothers are musicians. Kamar began acting at age 20 and moved to Los Angeles after college to pursue his career. He started out as a dancer and appeared in several music videos before landing a job on the television series, "Dirty Dancing." Shortly thereafter, he appeared in the ABC movie for television, "Lady Killers." His feature film credits include Oliver Stone's "Nixon," "I'll Do Anything," with Nick Nolte; "Father Hood," with Patrick Swayze; and "Street Knight," with Jeff Speakman. He also starred in the film, "In Search of a Dream." In 1994, Kamar came to New York to make his off-Broadway debut in "Blade to the Heat," where he stayed for four months before returning to L.A. to begin a recurring role on the hit series, "ER." Shortly thereafter, Kamar headed east once again after being cast as Ferdinand in the Shakespeare in the Park presentation of "The Tempest" in New York City. It was while performing in "The Tempest" that Kamar was cast on "One Life to Live." When not working, he enjoys reading, basketball, softball, and writing screenplays, but considers lounging in a hammock his favorite activity. Kamar currently resides in Manhattan.
