Alexis then defended Monica Quartermaine from charges of sexual harassment from the unscrupulous Dr. Dorman. Alexis and Ned Ashton made love for the first time on Valentines Day. Alexis's plot to break up her cousin Stefan and Katherine Bell backfired when Stefan banished her from the Cassadine fold. Alexis learned that she was really Natasha, Stefan's half sister. Helena made Alexis her point person in her plan to wrest control of the Cassadine empire from Stefan. As long as she could remember, Alexis Davis always thought of herself as a distant Cassadine cousin, who became an astute attorney, the family "consigliere," and her cousin Stefan's business confidante. She did not learn about her true identity until much later in her life. Alexis loves her cousin Nikolas and shares Stefan's animosity toward Luke and Laura Spencer. Alexis arrived in Port Charles at Stefan's request to defend Dr. Kevin Collins against the charges of kidnapping and stalking Felicia Jones. Alexis managed to help Kevin avoid prison and a stay in a mental institution. Alexis then defended Monica Quartermaines against sexual harassment charges brought by Dr. Pierce Dorman and became General Hospital's legal counsel when Stefan took it over. Alexis did not like Katherine Bell and was concerned when she realized that Stefan was seriously pursuing a relationship with her. Alexis devised a plan to make Stefan believe that his father Stavros had fathered an illegitimate child, who was his half sister "Natasha." Alexis then lead Stefan to believe that Natasha was still alone and was really Katherine. After breaking up with Katherine, Stefan learned about Alexis's deception and threw her out of Wyndemere and banished her from all aspects of Cassadine life. What Stefan did not know, however, was that Alexis had learned during her investigation that she was Natasha. Luke caught on to Alexis's plan and learned about her mother Kristen Bergman. Luke told Alexis the history of the relationship between her mother and Stavros and the brutal way Helena Cassadine had murdered her. Alexis was shocked to find out that Helena had recovered from her illness and had returned to Port Charles. Helena had known all along about Alexis's true identity and had promised Stavros that she would spare her life as long as Alexis never knew the truth. Instead of killing Alexis, Helena made Alexis her point person in her plan to wrest control of the Cassadine empire from Stefan. After being rejected from Stefan when she told him that she was Natasha, Alexis realized that she had no choice but to do Helena's bidding. Alexis had also found herself attracted to Ned Ashton. Their attraction to each other culminated when they made love for the first time on Valentine's Day. Alexis wed Jax Jacks as part of the plan to keep Chloe Morgan in possession of her company, Chloe Morgan Designs. Alexis and Ned Ashton secretly managed to keep up their relationship as much as possible. Now that Alexis is divorced from Jax, she must face her ongoing fears about marrying Ned. She loves him, but has always been apprehensive about making the commitment to marry him. Finally, however, Alexis agreed to become Mrs. Ned Ashton. Ned and Alexis made a sudden trip to Belize and planned on getting married the next day. Unfortunately, the media tracked them down and forced them to delay their wedding. Alexis was shocked by the media attention to her and Ned's wedding plans.Alexis was even more shocked to find a photo of herself wearing only a teddy and she learned that she had been labeled as "Eddie's Angel" in the media! In the end, Ned and Alexis realized they had no choice but to cooperate with the media and give them what they wanted. To that end, Alexis and Ned planned a huge wedding gala and through no fault of her own, Alexis ended up with Carly as her maid of honor! Although it is clear that Ned and Alexis are in love, it remains to be seen whether or not they will actually make it down the aisle. Alexis is currently residing at Jason's former penthouse. Alexis Davis came onto the canvas to defend Kevin Collins in his stalking case against Felicia Scorpio. She then defended Monica Quartermaine in the sexual harassment case Dr. Dorman brought against her.Alexis then discovered she was Stefan Cassadine's sister Natasha. Alexis' mother was the true love of Helena's husband and Helena was responsible for Alexis' mother's murder. To retaliate against Helena, Alexis teamed up with Luke Spencer to kill her, but unfortunately the plan did not work. Alexis felt like she needed a break from her dysfunctional family, so she decided to make more time for her career and relationships. Alexis became fast friends with Chloe Morgan. When Chloe was in danger of losing her company if she did not get married within the next month, Ned and Alexis decided to step in and have her marry Ned. But when Ned, Alexis, Jax, and Chloe all went to Vegas for the quickie wedding, Chloe's Aunt Gertrude showed up and told her about the provision in the will that said Chloe had to marry for love to keep the company. So, Alexis and Jax decided to get married to make it look like they were all in true love. After the four finally divorced, Alexis and Ned became engaged. But they never did say their vows because Alexis had nightmares of becoming a Quartermaine and fled while starting to walk down the aisle. Alexis represented Zander Smith when he got into trouble with the law. In exchange for testimony against mob boss Sorel, Alexis' client Sonny Corinthos gave him protection. On the night that Zander was released from jail, Sonny Alexis, Emily, and Zander were shot at while leaving the PCPD. Sonny jumped in front of Alexis and took a bullet for her that saved her life. Afterwards Ned and Alexis tried to work things out, but eventually they parted their separate ways. Alexis then moved into the penthouse across from Sonny to be closer to her client. Alexis and Sonny were unable to keep their relationship strictly professional, and they finally gave into their passion and made love. Unfortunately Carly walked in, saw them in bed together, and ran out. She ended up getting into an accident, which caused her lengthy disappearance. Everyone thought Carly was dead, but in the middle of her memorial service, Carly walked in and shocked everyone with her presence. Sonny reunited with Carly and his relationship with Alexis was over. Not soon after, Alexis found out she was pregnant with Sonny's child. But Alexis feared for her unborn child and did not want to run the risk of him trying to take the baby. Alexis took Ned up on his offer to claim the child as his own. Alexis' sister Kristina found a note saying that Sonny was the actual father of the baby. When Kristina went to a warehouse to tell Sonny the truth, she was killed in an explosion planned for him. Alexis blamed Sonny for her sister's untimely death and contributed to her desire to keep the truth about him being the father of her baby hidden. When Carly told Sonny that Alexis admitted to her he was actually the father of her baby, Sonny confronted Alexis and asked her to take a paternity test. But Ned got a hold of the results and switched them at the last minute to show Ned was the father. In addition to blaming Sonny for the death of her sister, Alexis also blamed Alcazar who she believed was responsible for the explosion that killed her sister. When Alexis confronted him in the park, she began to go into labor, but Alcazar refused to help her. With Cameron's help, she got to the hospital and went into premature labor. Alexis named the baby Kristina after her sister and the baby was then placed in intensive care. Alexis wouldn't leave the baby's side and pushed Ned away. When Alexis caught Ned kissing mob widow Faith Roscoe, she decided she did not want him in Kristina's life. But Ned wouldn't give up his relationship with baby Kristina and threatened to take her to court and expose the truth about Kristina's father's true identity. Alexis then felt forced to give in to Ned's wishes. When Luis Alcazar was murdered, Alexis soon became a suspect. She started to wear a red wig and began to dress like her dead sister. Cameron figured out what she was doing and she claimed to have multiple personality disorder which caused her to kill Luis Alcazar. She went to trial and was found not guilty by reason of insanity. Ned was then given full custody of Kristina and Alexis found herself questioning how she was going to be able to see her daughter. She came up with a plan to dress up as Dobson, the Quartermaine butler and get her time with Kristina who was living with Ned in the house. But Alexis couldn't keep up the ruse for long after Skye figured out what she was doing. Eventually Alexis got custody of her daughter again. During the Port Charles Hotel fire, Alexis found herself trapped in an elevator with Carly thinking she was going to die. She slipped that Sonny is in fact Kristina's father. After they both survived the fire, Carly agreed to keep her secret, for now. Alexis was saddened to find out her friend Cameron had died in the fire. But recently her attentions have been diverted to a new man, lawyer rival Ric Lansing.
