Bobbie's life was wrecked her husband Tony had an affair with sexy vixen Carly Roberts and was shocked when she learned that Carly was daughter! In order to win away Scotty Baldwin from Laura Webber, Bobbie pretended to be pregnant with his child. Bobbie's engagement to mob goon Roy DiLucca ended when he was killed while trying to perform a hit for her brother, Luke. Even after Bobbie faked blindness to hold the attention of Dr. Noah Drake, the playboy left her. Bobbie's first husband, D.L. Brock, whom she married in 1983, became abusive and was murdered (but not by Bobbie). Bobbie's attorney, Jake Meyer, became her second husband in 1986. After Jake had a one-night stand with Lucy Coe, Bobbie married Lucy's ex-husband and her own dear friend, Dr. Tony Jones, in 1989. After Bobbie and Tony's daughter, B.J., was killed, their marriage began to disintegrate. After Bobbie walked in on Tony in bed with younger woman Carly Roberts, she got herself a divorce - and a new husband, Stefan Cassadine! Stefan divorced Bobbie after he caught her helping Luke. In 1998, Bobbie received the shock of her life when Carly revealed that she was her daughter. To look at Bobbie Spencer now, it's hard to believe that she ever was the girl that she, in fact, was - a street kid who ate out of garbage cans and turned tricks to put some money in her pocket. But Bobbie hasn't forgotten, not for a minute. That's why she refuses to let go of what she treasures most in her life: her relationship with her former husband, Dr. Tony Jones. When Bobbie landed in Port Charles, the plucky student nurse developed a serious crush on law student Scotty Baldwin. Unfortunately, though Scotty would occasionally sleep with Bobbie, his heart belonged to good girl Laura Webber. In an attempt to land him for herself, Bobbie pretended to be pregnant. Laura's mother, Dr. Lesley Webber, foiled her scheme only days before Bobbie was to have become Mrs. Scotty Baldwin. Bobbie next became engaged to mob flunky Roy DiLucca. He was able to get past her past as a hooker, but before they could marry, he was killed performing a suicide mission for her brother, Luke Spencer. Next, Bobbie got involved in a hospital romance with playboy Dr. Noah Drake. Unable to get a commitment out of him, Bobbie faked blindness. Again, her scheme backfired. Noah told her he didn't love her, with or without her sight. Financier D.L. Brock finally made an honest woman of Bobbie in 1983. But theirs was a rocky relationship. Brock became more and more abusive - even physically - toward Bobbie. When he was murdered, she was accused of pulling the trigger, but her attorney, Jake Meyer, got the charges dropped. (She was innocent, after all.) Bobbie would have gotten involved with Jake, but she had sworn off men. Still, they got along famously and spent all of their time together remodeling the brownstone. Finally, in 1986, they married. Divorce came only a few years later, after Scotty returned to Port Charles and made a play for Bobbie, and schemer Lucy Coe seduced Jake into a one-night stand. In 1989, when Bobbie adopted Cheryl Stansbury's son, Lucas, she became what she never thought she would: a mother. That same year, Bobbie's friendship with Dr. Tony Jones blossomed into something more - love. Together with his daughter, B.J. (with his late wife, Tania), and Lucas, the couple formed a tight-knit family unit. But tragedy was just around the bend. In 1994, B.J. was killed in a terrible bus accident that sent her parents reeling. Bobbie succumbed to the advances of mobster Damian Smith, and in 1996, Tony finally awoke emotionally with nursing student Carly Roberts, who, unbeknownst to either him or Bobbie, is the child that Bobbie gave up for adoption back when she was a prostitute. On the rebound, at the same time as Bobbie was obtaining a quickie divorce from Tony, she became involved with her brother's archenemy, Stefan Cassadine. He offered her a very lucrative, very practical marriage, and having tried it the other way, she accepted his proposal - a decision she may come to regret. The ink had barely dried on their marriage license before he accidentally shot Katherine Bell - and begun exchanging meaningful looks with her. Finally realizing the depths of her husband's deception, Bobbie teamed up with her brother Luke to destroy Stefan Cassidine. Stefan, however, discovered Bobbie's deception and she became one of his enemies. They had a quick divorce and Bobbie became a "Spencer" again in both name and spirit. Bobbie soon learned that Tony and Carly had broken up and that Carly was pregnant with Jason's child. What she did not know was that Carly was covering up the fact that AJ Quartermaine was the baby's father and that Carly had told Jason the truth about her past including being Bobbie's daughter. Bobbie was supportive of Tony and also helped deliver Carly's baby boy. When Carly left town, Jason had Bobbie help him be a good father to the baby. When Carly returned to Port Charles, Bobbie was concerned that Carly was not bonding with her son and helped her make a breakthrough with him. Bobbie's help and her emotional account of why she had given her own baby up for up for adoption made Bobbie and Carly closer. An emotional Carly was moved to tell Bobbie that she was her daughter Caroline. Bobbie was shocked to learn that Carly had known all along that she was her daughter and how Carly had plotted to ruin her life. A livid Bobbie then cut off all ties with Carly. Bobbie also learned that Luke had known the truth about Carly and did not tell her. Bobbie was upset with her brother, but still remained close to him. The rift between Bobbie and Carly quickly closed when Michael was kidnapped by Tony. The two rekindled their bond and Bobbie stood by Carly during Tony's kidnapping trial. When Tony got off virtually scott-free for his crimes, an emotional Carly shot him. Even when Carly was sent away to Shadybrook Psychiatric Center for tests, Bobbie never left her daughter's side. Fearing what Tony might do next, Bobbie has been trying to keep him away from their son Lucas. Since Tony has started to slowly return to normal, Bobbie no longer fears for Lucas's safety and she and Tony have begun to rebuild their friendship. In 1998, Bobbie began a romance with Jerry Jacks, who had actually come to town to try and neutralize Jason and Sonny's business. Bobbie even forgave Jerry after learning that he had set Sonny and Jason's warehouse on fire and Jerry always came to Bobbie's defense when Tony would harass her about seeing Lucas. In 1999, Bobbie was stunned to learn the news that Ruby had died peacefully in her sleep. Luke returned to Port Charles and he and Bobbie held an open house at Kelly's in memory of their beloved aunt. Bobbie also accepted Jerry's marriage proposal and they planned on getting married at the brownstone. In October of 1999, a mysterious man was released from prison and started making his way to Port Charles. This man was soon revealed to be Roy DiLucca, the love of Bobbie's life and Luke's former ally who was presumed to have died some twenty years ago. Bobbie was shocked when she came face to face with Roy and soon became angry that he had let her think he had been dead for the last twenty years. Bobbie was still attracted to Roy, but she was determined to make her future with Jerry and marry him as planned. Friends and family gathered for Bobbie and Jerry's wedding and everyone was shocked when FBI agents burst in and arrested Jerry for money laundering. Bobbie believed that Jerry was innocent, but he later confessed the truth to her. Bobbie was devastated, but continued to love Jerry. Roy felt guilty for his role in Jerry's arrest, but didn't tell Bobbie or Luke that he had given the FBI the information to use against Jerry. As the months progressed, Bobbie and Roy continued to inch closer, but Bobbie feared that Roy would return to a life of crime. Bobbie even went to Sonny and asked him not to allow Roy to work for him, but Sonny refused. A short time later, Roy confessed to Bobbie that he was Hannah's father. Roy, however, still didn't tell Bobbie that he was an FBI informant assigned to bring Sonny down. Roy and Bobbie grew closer and shared a passionate kiss on Valentine's Day. While at Luke's club, an eavesdropping Bobbie overheard the details of Roy's next job for Sonny. Bobbie went to the warehouse where the meeting was going to take place and was kidnapped by Sorel. Roy and Sonny then teamed up to rescue Bobbie from Sorel, who demanded that Sonny move drugs for him in exchange for Bobbie's freedom. Sonny had no intention of dealing in drugs and he and Roy were able to beat Sorel at his own game. Roy rescued Bobbie and Sonny's position in the organization remained solid. With the danger behind them, Bobbie told Roy that she loved him. Roy then stunned Bobbie by telling her the entire truth about himself and confessed that he was an unwilling informant for the FBI. Roy also admitted that he was reason why Jerry had been arrested. Bobbie was furious at Roy and threw him out. Bobbie's anger soon subsided when she learned Roy was going to be sent back to prison by the FBI. Bobbie was heartsick when Roy was taken back to prison and she pleaded with Larkin to release Roy, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. Soon thereafter, Roy revealed to Bobbie that Larkin had locked him up in order to keep him quiet and told Bobbie that Larkin was crooked. With Roy's permission, Bobbie then told Hannah the truth about her father. Sonny arranged for Roy to escape from prison. Sonny, Roy and Bobbie then teamed up to get incriminating evidence to use against Larkin and Sonny agreed to wear a wire to trap him. Bobbie and Roy tracked Larkin to the Florida Keys and after a quick thinking Bobbie helped Roy beat some cheaters in a poker game, they located a pilot to fly them back to Port Charles. Once in the air, Bobbie and Roy were stunned to find Larkin at the controls. Bobbie and Roy then made a daring escape from the plane via parachute. Bobbie and Roy survived their ordeal and made it back to Port Charles, where they successfully nailed Larkin and had him arrested. Bobbie and Roy are enjoying making up for all the time they lost, but are still just taking things one day at a time. Bobbie resides at The Brownstone at 1242 Elm St. in Port Charles, New York. When Scott Baldwin and Laura ended their relationship in 2002, Bobbie and Scott could not resist their longtime attraction to each other. Scott helped Bobbie get through a rough period when Carly was presumed dead. But when Scott decided to run for District Attorney, Bobbie saw a side to Scott that she didn't like. To win the election he began to harass Carly for information he could use against his opponent, Alexis Davis. Bobbie decided she could not be with a man that would stoop to that level, so she ended their relationship. Lately, Bobbie has been a huge support to Carly and is a grandmother again to Morgan Corinthos. Her son Lucas has been away at school, but is back this summer.
