| This is my thunderbird. I bought it in March of 2003. The previous owner was caught smuggling a large amount of drugs, so they auctioned it off and I was the lucky person to buy it. She only had 80,000 miles on her when I first got it, and for a 1986, that's hella good. In the course of a year I've managed to install my own sound system, take it 23,000 miles, bringing her to a little over 100,000 miles. I've also managed to repair her, when she was hit 4 times , on seperate occasions in that same course of a year. She was rear-ended 3 times and the 4th time someone was nice enough to smash into the driverside fender and leave without even letting me know. But now she's all better. She's a work in progress and although she's over the 100 grand mark, which brought at the time brought a tear to my eye, she still is reliable and runs beautifully. |
