Savate-Boxe Francaise

SAVATE-BOXE FRANCAISE:

An empty handed fighting form using the feet, the hands, and other body parts developed from Savate and Chausson. Kicks from the ground, open hand strikes, headbutts, sweeps, elbows and knees are used for self-defense. A limited number of the less dangerous kicks and punches are used in the sport form. Boxe francaise is the end product of long development in both the street and the ring. Neither the kicks nor the punches should be allowed to dominate the practicitioner's style.
