Della Porta

The Della Porta is a very simple design, which makes a great canvas for appliquing. I used to consider it a boring sort of kite. However, I built one to participate in a Della Porta contest (taking 1st prize, BTW :-) and have since changed my mind: it is quite an impressive sight in the sky.

The design - if you haven't yet recognized it - is the symbol of the Klingon Empire. I call this my klingon war kite.

• Size tail: 15m (in 2 sections of approx. 10 and 5m)
